What is ‘ Measurable Learning Outcomes ?

Measurable learning outcomes are specific, student-centered statements that describe what a learner will be able to do by the end of a course or program. They are essential for course design because they provide clear goals, guide the creation of aligned assessments, and offer a way to measure student achievement. These statements must use action verbs that denote observable behavior and avoid vague terms like “know” or “understand”.
